In 2023, the Madhya Pradesh government introduced the Ladli Behen Yojana, which offers monthly financial assistance to women. As of now, over 1.29 crore women are registered in the Ladli Behen Scheme. However, the government has made it clear that only those women who fulfill the eligibility criteria will be entitled to the benefits of the scheme. A recent government investigation has uncovered that some women, despite not meeting the eligibility requirements, have been receiving funds from the scheme. The government is now in the process of removing these individuals from the program to ensure that those who truly need assistance can receive the full benefits. If you are a beneficiary of the Ladli Behen Yojana, it is crucial to verify whether your name appears on the list of individuals who will be removed. How can you check your status?
- To check your status, start by visiting the official website of the Chief Minister Ladli Behan Yojana at cmladlibahna.mp.gov.in.
- On the homepage, click on the Application and Payment Status option.
- A new page will appear. You will need to enter your registration number or overall number.
- After inputting the captcha code, click on the option to send an OTP.
- Enter the OTP you receive on your mobile device and click on Search to view the complete status of your application.
Under this program, women are provided with financial support of Rs 1,500 each month. Up to now, 35 installments of the program have been disbursed. The 36th installment is set to be released tomorrow, May 13th.
What should you do if your name is removed?
If your name has been taken off the list, there’s no need to worry. First, you will need to finish your e-KYC process. To do this, please follow the steps outlined below.
- Go to the official Samagra Portal website at samagra.gov.in.
- Click on the e-KYC option available on the site.
- Next, input your Samagra ID and the captcha code.
- After this, you will have access to complete information.
- The mobile number associated with your Samagra ID will be displayed on your screen.
- An OTP will be sent to that mobile number; enter it to verify.
- Finally, complete the E-KYC process using your Aadhar card.
