Sherman made a significant statement.t
Sherman, a senior member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee and the Financial Services Committee, said that Trump has made a serious claim. He claimed that the tariffs on India are related to Russian oil imports, while Hungary imports9 per cent of its crude oil from Russia without any tariffs.
Furthermore, China, Russia’s largest oil buyer, has not been affected by sanctions related to the purchase of Russian oil. Sanctions have been imposed on it for other reasons. Sherman said, “India only gets per centent of its crude oil from Russia, but our ally is being targeted.

The President should immediately change this policy. Earlier this month, the US and India announced the development of a framework for an interim trade agreement.
Donald Trump suffers a setback finthe court.
On Thursday, a US court dealt a major blow by overruling the Administrative Board’s decision. The board had upheld the Trump administration’s policy, under which thousands of people arrested during the immigration crackdown were held in mandatory detention without the opportunity to be released on bail.
US District Judge Sunshine Sykes of California vacated the Board of Immigration Appeals’ decision, finding that the administration had failed to comply with an earlier order declaring the policy unlawful.
