New Delhi: The weather is rapidly changing across most parts of India these days. February is a significant month for weather changes. Temperatures begin to rise this month. Snowfall continues to trouble people in the hilly areas. Winter is now drawing to a close in the plains of North India.
In Delhi-NCR and Western Uttar Pradesh, people have stopped wearing warm clothing during the day. The cold is only felt in the mornings and evenings. Due to a Western Disturbance, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and other areas experienced spells of rain. These conditions have now weakened. How will the weather be in these areas?
According to the Indian Meteorological Department, the sky is expected to remain completely clear in Delhi-NCR, Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, and Western Uttar Pradesh from February 19th. Over the next 24 to 48 hours, minimum and maximum temperatures may gradually increase by 2 to 4 degrees Celsius.
Maximum temperatures in these plains are expected to reach 29 to 32 degrees Celsius between February 20 and 25. Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, and Maharashtra are also expected to experience completely dry weather for the next 5-7 days.

Snowfall in these states
According to the Meteorological Department, while pre-summer has arrived in the plains, the weather in the mountains remains cold. On February 19, light to moderate rain is expected in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and parts of Dehradun.
Snowfall is also expected in the mountains. The IMD says that snowfall and rain may occur in various parts of Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh between February 22 and 24.
Rain and storm warnings in these states
The IMD has issued a severe warning for South India and the islands. The IMD has issued an alert for lightning and thunderstorms in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands on February 20th. Winds of up to 30-40 kilometers per hour are expected here.
The IMD has predicted heavy rainfall in South Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Kerala on February 21st and 22nd. In eastern India, light to moderate rain with lightning is also possible in parts of West Bengal, Odisha, and Jharkhand on February 23rd and 24th.
