When Salim Khan was shifted to the ICU and the ventilator became public, rumors began to circulate that his condition was critical. However, Dr. Jalil Parkar of Lilavati Hospital clarified that the ventilator was used solely as a precaution.

Doctors say that given his age (90 years), they did not want to take any risks. He was placed on support to ensure his health did not deteriorate during necessary tests and examinations.

Brain hemorrhage case: The doctor stated that Salim sahab suffered a mild brain hemorrhage. The good news is that it has been controlled with medication and no surgery is required.

Successful procedure: On February 18th, he underwent a minor procedure, digital subtraction angiography (DSA), which was completely successful.

Signs of improvement: According to the doctor, he is fully conscious and talking. If his recovery continues at this pace, he will soon be removed from the ventilator.

When was he brought to the hospital? He was brought to the hospital on Tuesday (February 17th) morning on the advice of his family doctor after complaining of high blood pressure.
