New Delhi: YouTube services have suddenly gone down in many countries, including India, causing problems for users. Videos are not opening on YouTube this morning. Users are also experiencing issues with Google, Amazon Web Services, and Cloudflare.
Upon opening YouTube, people are seeing a message saying “Something Went Wrong” on their screen. Clearly, something has gone wrong. This leaves users wondering what has suddenly happened to YouTube, causing videos, both long and short, to stop playing.

Users receive bad news early in the morning.
YouTube, the world’s largest video streaming platform, has been down globally since this morning. Millions of users in countries like India, the US, Canada, the UK, Brazil, and Germany are experiencing problems viewing, uploading, or searching for videos. Users are seeing the “Something Went Wrong” error message on their screens.

This is disrupting users’ daily routines. According to the outage tracking website DownDetector, there have been over 200,000 reports in the US alone, while globally this number has reached over 1 million. The first problem on YouTube occurred on February 17th, US time.
American users reported it first. In India, YouTube was down as soon as people woke up on the morning of February 18th. Users first noticed problems with the mobile app and website.
