Gold Rate Weekly – Gold Down ₹37,201 From Peak; Check City-Wise prices Per 10 Gram

Gold Rate Weekly: Gold and silver prices have been fluctuating continuously this week. Gold prices sometimes rise and sometimes fall. On Friday, the last trading day of the week, gold and silver prices jumped suddenly. However, silver is still trading above ₹1.75 lakh per kg. Gold, despite its recent rally, remains well below its highs. Gold is available at around ₹36,000 per 10 grams.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange of India, gold prices closed at ₹1,56,200 per 10 grams on the last trading day of the week, and silver at ₹2,44,999 per kg. While prices saw a slight increase on Friday, a weekly data analysis shows a slight increase in gold prices and a decline in silver prices. Gold and silver rates have fallen this much from their highs on the MCX in just 16 trading days, from January 29th to February 13th.

How much has the gold rate fallen?
Gold is currently trading lower than its high. The price of gold with an April 2nd expiry on the MCX closed last Friday at ₹1,55,895 per 10 grams, a gain compared to its previous close on Thursday. The gold rate is currently trading well below its high.

On January 29th, gold touched a new peak and rose to ₹1,93,096 per 10 grams. This was followed by a gold rate crash. However, compared to the previous close, even after Friday’s rise, the 24-karat gold rate is trading ₹37,201 lower than its high.

What is the silver rate?
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the price of 1 kg silver with an expiry on March 5th closed last Friday at ₹2,44,360, a gain of ₹7,925 compared to its previous close. Silver is still much cheaper than Life Time High.
