Holi Special Trains: Keeping in mind the possible extra rush of passengers on the occasion of Holi, the Railways has decided to operate special trains to Howrah and Anand Vihar. Chief Public Relations Officer Saraswati Chandra provided this information. These special trains will operate via various important stations, including Gaya Junction.
Operation of Howrah-Khatipura Special
Train No. 03007/03008 Howrah Junction-Khatipura-Howrah Special (Jhajha-Kiul-Nawada-Gaya Junction-DDU route) will be run. Train No. 03007 Howrah-Khatipura (Jaipur) Special will depart Howrah at 23.55 hrs on Wednesday, 25th February and 11th March 2026.
This train will reach Khatipura (Jaipur) at 11.30 am on Friday after stopping at Kiul at 07.40 am, Nawada at 09.13 am, Gaya at 10.35 am and Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Junction at 14.00 pm the next day.
In return direction, Train No. 03008 Khatipura – Howrah Special will leave Khatipura at 17.00 hrs on Friday, 27th February and 13th March 2026. It will stop at DDU at 14:00 hrs, Gaya at 17:30 hrs, Nawada at 18:43 hrs and Kiul at 20:38 hrs on Saturday and will reach Howrah at 05:15 hrs on Sunday.
Details of Anand Vihar-Khordha Road Special
Train No. 04066/04065 Anand Vihar Terminal-Khordha Road-Anand Vihar Special will also be operated on DDU-Gaya-Gomo-Bokaro-Tata-Bhubaneswar route. Train No. 04066 Anand Vihar – Khordha Road Junction Special will leave Anand Vihar at 00.30 hrs daily from 27th February to 3rd March 2026.
It will reach Khordha Road Junction at 12.30 hrs the next day via DDU at 15.15 hrs, Gaya at 18.40 hrs and Gomoh at 21.40 hrs. In return direction, train number 04065 Khordha Road Junction-Anand Vihar Special will run daily from February 28 to March 4, 2026. It will leave Khordha Road at 15:30 hrs and reach Anand Vihar at 08:15 hrs on the third day after stopping at Gomoh at 06:55 hrs, Gaya at 10:30 hrs and DDU at 14:20 hrs.
The Railways stated that in addition to these trains, other special trains will be announced soon for Holi. Passengers are requested to check the timetables before traveling.
New Delhi-Barauni Special Express (Train No. 04054/04053)
This train will run daily from New Delhi from February 20 to March 6, 2026, and daily from Barauni from February 22 to March 8, 2026. There will be a total of 15 trips. The train will have sleeper and general coaches. It will depart New Delhi at 7:50 PM and arrive Barauni at 7:50 PM the next day.
New Delhi-Supaul Special Express (Train No. 04060/04059)
This train will also run daily from New Delhi from February 20 to March 6, 2026, and daily from Supaul from February 22 to March 8, 2026. It will also have 15 trips, consisting of sleeper and general coaches. The train will depart New Delhi at 9:35 pm and arrive in Supaul at 10:45 pm the next day.
