New Delhi: A period of tension is currently unfolding between the United States and Iran. US President Donald Trump is employing new strategies to bring Iran to its knees and is issuing new threats almost daily. Amidst this, President Trump has issued a significant new threat to Iran.
He warned Iran that if Tehran fails to reach a nuclear deal, it will face the consequences. Trump issued this threat at a time when American and Iranian officials were holding talks in Muscat to reach a nuclear agreemet.

Speaking to reporters, Trump reiterated that a large US fleet is heading towards Iran. The US president claimed that Iran is eager to reach a deal. He described the ongoing talks as very good and said that Tehran must come to its senses.

If they don’t, they know the consequences.” Trump reiterated that the main condition for any deal would be that Iran does not acquire nuclear weapons.
