Government Scheme Benefits: Many women today are living alone for one reason or another. Some have lost their husbands, some are living after a divorce, some are separated from their husbands, or are completely destitute. In such situations, meeting daily expenses becomes very difficult for them. Understanding this problem, the Delhi government has launched a special pension scheme for needy women, under which financial assistance of Rs 2500 is provided every month.
This amount is not a loan or debt that has to be repaid later. It is direct assistance from the government so that women can meet their basic needs and live with dignity. If there is any financially weak and single woman in your neighbourhood or among your acquaintances, this scheme can prove to be very helpful for her.
