In various parts of Uttar Pradesh, dense clouds and drizzle have been observed since morning. In many places, strong winds accompanied by rain have caused a drop in temperature. The drop in temperature has led to people experiencing intense cold. Meanwhile, dense fog covered some parts of UP in the early morning, reducing visibility.

Commuters faced difficulties. Bad weather conditions may persist in many areas of UP. According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), there is a possibility of rain in several areas of Uttar Pradesh. You can find detailed information about the weather below.

Weather Forecast for These Areas

The Meteorological Department has issued a surprising warning for several districts of Uttar Pradesh. The previous day, Saturday morning, dense fog was observed in Bareilly, Ghaziabad, Aligarh, Agra, Kanpur, and Azamgarh, where visibility was recorded as zero.

Visibility was 10 meters in Meerut, 20 meters in Bareilly and Ballia, 40 meters in Hamirpur, and 50 meters in Lucknow. Hardoi was the coldest place in UP with a minimum temperature of 6.5 degrees Celsius. Muzaffarnagar recorded a minimum temperature of 6.6 degrees, Meerut 6.8 degrees, Kanpur and Barabanki 7 degrees, and the capital Lucknow 8.8 degrees Celsius.

According to Atul Kumar Singh, a scientist at the Meteorological Centre, due to the influence of the Western Disturbance, rain is expected in the state from February 1st to February 3rd. During this period, a rise in temperature of 2 to 4 degrees Celsius is expected.

Heavy Rainfall Alert Here

According to the IMD, light rain with thunderstorms is expected in a large part of Uttar Pradesh. The Meteorological Department has predicted rain in Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Baghpat, Meerut, Ghaziabad, Hapur, Gautam Buddha Nagar, and Bulandshahr. Rain is also expected in Aligarh, Mathura, Hathras, Kasganj, Etah, Agra, Firozabad, Mainpuri, Etawah, Auraiya, Bijnor, and Amroha. Several places in Bareilly, Sambhal, Budaun, Jalaun, Hamirpur, Mahoba, Jhansi, and Lalitpur may also experience rainfall.

Dense fog is expected in these districts

According to the Meteorological Department, dense fog is expected in Deoria, Gorakhpur, Sant Kabir Nagar, Basti, Kushinagar, Maharajganj, Siddharthnagar, and Gonda, along with a drop in temperature. Rain is also possible in Balrampur, Shravasti, Bahraich, Lakhimpur Kheri, Sitapur, Moradabad, Rampur, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur, and surrounding areas.
