ICICI Bank Credit Card Rules: If you have an ICICI Bank credit card, there’s bad news for you. ICICI Bank is discontinuing a major feature it offers its credit card users. Effective February 1, 2026, ICICI Bank will make some changes to its credit card rules. These changes will directly impact millions of credit card holders.

These facilities are going to be closed

If you enjoy free movie tickets with your ICICI Bank credit card, you will no longer enjoy this privilege starting February 1st. ICICI Bank will discontinue the free movie ticket offer on BookMyShow using the ICICI Bank Instant Platinum Chip Credit Card and ICICI Bank Instant Platinum Credit Card. Losing this privilege will be a loss for movie lovers.

ICICI Bank has capped the HPCL Super Saver Credit Card’s reward points limit at 40,000. Furthermore, payments made on online gaming platforms like Dream11, MPL, Junglee Games, and Rummy Culture will now incur a 2% fee. If you prefer shopping, you’ll incur a 1% charge for loading Rs 5,000 or more into third-party wallets like Amazon Pay, Paytm, and MobiKwik.

Certain large payments related to transport will also be subject to additional charges. If a transaction exceeds Rs 50,000 in the transport merchant category, an additional 1% fee will be charged.
