According to the IMD, the dense fog in Gorakhpur and the surrounding areas has led to a drop in temperature. The IMD predicts that the minimum temperature in these cities is likely to be around 7°C.
The fog could disrupt road traffic. Drivers and pedestrians will need to be especially cautious. The temperature level may drop even further in various areas of western UP, including Moradabad, Amroha, and Rampur.

Rain Expected for Two Days
The IMD has issued a rain warning for several districts of Uttar Pradesh for two days. There is a strong possibility that the rain will start after 40 hours. According to the Meteorological Department, a rain alert has been issued for January 19th and 20th. After the rain, the humidity in the air will increase, and a drop in temperature is expected.
