Battery and power

Hyundai Staria Electric offers a large lithium-ion battery of 84 kWh, which helps it travel long distances. The forward electric motor with this battery generates 218 PS power and 350 Nm torque. This power goes to the front wheels and makes the driving experience smooth and quiet.

Range

The biggest feature of Hyundai Staria Electric is its 800-volt electrical architecture. This technology not only accelerates charging, but also reduces the thermal stress on the battery. The result is that performance and efficiency persist even when repeatedly charged fast.

According to the WLTP bicycle this electric MPV can run up to around 400 Km once charged. The DC fast charger charges the battery from 10% to 80% in just 20 minutes, while the 11 kW AC charger is comfortable at home or office for everyday use.

Space and Comfort

Let me tell you that the advantage of electric platform is that the floor gets completely flat. The longer wheelbase, more headroom and plentiful legroom make the cabin extremely open and comfortable. Large windows, low belt-lines and high rooflines bring plenty of natural light inside, making the journey not tiring but relaxing.

Hyundai Staria Electric will come in two seating options. The 7-seater luxury variant is for those who focus on family and lifestyle, while the 9-seater wagon version becomes a powerful alternative to large families, group travel and shuttle service.

Design and Technology

Hyundai Staria Electric retains its “one-curve ” siluet from outside, but a closed front grille is provided for electric identification if it comes to design. This not only makes the look clean, but also improves aerodynamics. The horizontal light strip on the front gives the car a wide and modern look.

Talking inside, two 12.3-inch digital screens are found on the dashboard — one for the instrument cluster and the other for infotainment. Hyundai’s latest connected car navigation system supports OTA updates, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Safety, V2L and practical features

Hyundai Staria Electric features the Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) feature, which can also run electronic devices outside the car’s battery. Camping or any work tool, this feature makes it more useful.

It also gets Hyundai SmartSense ADAS Suite, which fully helps the driver in situations like city, highway and parking. Wide sliding doors, large tailgate and adjustable cargo space make it fit for both family and commercial needs.
