Tractor Subsidy Yojana: The Haryana government is continuously implementing new schemes to increase farmers’ income and connect agriculture with technology. In this regard, the state government has launched the Tractor Subsidy Scheme, specifically designed for farmers belonging to the Scheduled Castes. The objective of this scheme is to ensure that economically weaker farmers can also utilize modern agricultural machinery and make farming more profitable.

What is the Tractor Subsidy Scheme?
Under the Tractor Subsidy Scheme, the Haryana government is providing financial assistance for the purchase of new tractors with a capacity of 45 horsepower or more. Under this scheme, farmers will be given a maximum subsidy of up to Rs. 3 lakh. This assistance is valid only for the purchase of new tractors; old or second-hand tractors will not be covered under this scheme.
The government’s clear objective is to enable farmers to adopt modern technology and make farming a profitable business. With the help of a tractor, plowing, sowing, and other agricultural tasks can be done easily, saving both time and effort for the farmer.
Application Process and Important Dates
The application process for this scheme started on December 27, 2025. Interested farmers can apply until January 15, 2026. To apply, farmers need to visit the official website of the Haryana Agriculture Department, agriharyana.gov.in, where online registration facilities are available.
While applying, farmers must fill in all their information correctly to avoid any difficulties in the subsidy process. No applications will be accepted after the deadline.
Which Farmers Will Benefit from the Scheme?
The benefits of this tractor subsidy scheme will be given only to permanent residents of Haryana state. Additionally, the applicant farmer must belong to the Scheduled Caste category. To avail of the scheme, it is a mandatory condition that the farmer must own agricultural land in their name.
Furthermore, the government has clarified that farmers who have benefited from any tractor subsidy scheme in the last five years will not be eligible for this scheme. These conditions aim to ensure that the subsidy reaches the deserving and needy farmers.
