India-Specific Design
The India-spec version of the new Renault Duster appears different from the international model at first glance. While Y-shape LED DRLs are seen in the global model, the Indian version has more sharp and horizontal LED DRL strip. These DRLs will also serve as turn indicators, making the front profile look more modern and technology-focused.

ADAS
With the presence of radar sensors, it is almost certain that ADAS features will be given in the new Duster. Today, many SUVs of 4.2 to 4.4 meter segment are already offering Level 2 ADAS, so it was not possible to stay behind Duster.

International-spec Duster features such as lane funnel assist, traffic sign recognition, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking and driver tardiness alerts. It is expected that most of these safety technologies will also be seen in Indian models.
Side Profile and Wheels
The side profile of the new Renault Duster also further strengthens its SUV identity. Square shaped wheel arch, mounted rear door handle on C-pillar and strong roof rails give it a rough and tuff appeal.

In addition, the presence of camera modules in ORVMs points to a 360-degree surround view camera, which can be a large plus point in this segment. There is also full hope of finding panoramic sunroof in the top variants.
Interior and Features
Talking about the interior, the new Renault Duster can also see some special changes for India. According to reports, triple-screen dashboard layouts can be given in the top variants, making it the most different in segments.

Other variants are likely to feature a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 7-inch digital instrument cluster similar to the International model. In addition, features such as powered tailgate, dual-zone climate control, wireless charger, electronic parking brake with auto hold, premium audio system and key-less entry make it a complete family SUV.

Engine
Now talk about its engine, at the time of launch in India, the new Renault Duster will only come with petrol engine. It is likely to get a 1.3-liter turbo-petrol engine, which generates 156 hp of power in the international market. Renault may also add Strong Hybrid and CNG options to it in the coming times, allowing this SUV to attract a much larger audience.

Price and Rivals
The new Renault Duster is expected to be priced between ₹10 lakh and ₹20 lakh in India. It will compete with SUVs like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, Tata Sierra, and Maruti Victoria in this price bracket.
