Cricbuzz reported that KL Rahul, Ravindra Jadeja, and Shubman Gill have decided to play in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. They have informed their respective state associations. The BCCI had instructed Team India players to play domestic matches after the international season ends, a decision they are all adhering to.

Shubman Gill missed the ODI series against South Africa. Now, by signing up for the Vijay Hazare Trophy, he has hinted that he will be making a comeback in the ODI series against New Zealand, starting January 11th.
Shubman Gill will soon join the Punjab team. He will be seen in the match against Sikkim on January 3 in Jaipur. He will also play for Punjab in the match against Goa on January 6. The KSCA has not yet announced Rahul’s participation. However, reports suggest that he may play his first match in the Vijay Hazare Trophy against Tripura on January 3. His second match will be against Rajasthan on January 6. Both matches will be held in Ahmedabad.

Ravindra Jadeja has informed the SCA that he is available to play two matches in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. He will play against Services on January 6th, followed by a match against Gujarat on January 8th. All Saurashtra matches are being played in Bengaluru and Alur.
