Team India’s run machine Virat Kohli will be eyeing Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar’s historic world record. In the ODI series against New Zealand starting from December 11, Virat will want to repeat his performance against South Africa. Indian cricket team’s star batsman Virat Kohli has come very close to another big achievement in international cricket.
Virat is now just 25 runs shy of reaching 28,000 international runs. Once he crosses this milestone, he will become the third batsman in the world to achieve this feat and will break Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar’s world record for the fastest batsman to reach 28,000 international runs in terms of innings. Tendulkar reached the milestone in the fewest innings, batting 644 times to reach 28,000 runs, totaling 34,357 runs in 782 innings.
