Vaibhav Suryavanshi is set to play in the ICC Under-19 World Cup, to be jointly hosted by Zimbabwe and Namibia next month. Vaibhav was out on the first ball of the fifth over, with the team’s score at 38, of which Vaibhav had scored 31 runs. Vaibhav faced 10 balls to score these runs, hitting six fours and one six. His strike rate during this period was 310.
Piyush Singh, who came on after Vaibhav’s dismissal, scored a brilliant century and led the team to victory. He faced 88 balls and scored an unbeaten 100, hitting 14 fours and a six. He was supported by Akash Raj, who scored an unbeaten 75 off 90 balls, hitting 10 fours and a six.

Sikkim had no answer against Bihar
Sikkim’s batsmen failed to make a significant impact in this match. Ninth-ranked batsman Ram Gurang scored a brilliant century, scoring an unbeaten 56 off 64 balls, hitting three fours and two sixes. Sikkim managed to cross the 200-run mark thanks to contributions from the lower order. Besides Ram, Anish scored 32 runs off 56 balls, including one four.
