KVS NVS Exam City Slip 2025: Big news is coming for candidates preparing for the recruitment exams of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti. The examination board has released the city slip. Many people are confused about whether this is an admit card or a city slip. All candidates appearing for this exam can download their exam city slip. The exam city slip is available for download on the official website. Candidates will need their application number and password to download the exam city slip.

How to download the exam city slip:

To download the exam city slip, first visit the official website.
On the website’s homepage, click the Exam City Slip section.
Then, enter your application number and password.
After entering your login credentials, the exam city slip will open.
Finally, please print it.

When will the exam start?
The examination for teaching and non-teaching posts will be conducted on January 10 and 11, 2026. This exam will be conducted in two shifts. The first shift will be from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM and the second shift will be from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM. This exam will be conducted for two hours.

How many posts will be filled?
Through this recruitment exam, a total of 14,967 posts for teaching and non-teaching positions will be filled. Of these, 9126 posts are reserved for Kendriya Vidyalayas and 5841 posts are reserved for Navodaya Vidyalayas. The admit card will be released a few days before the exam. Therefore, all candidates are advised to visit the official website regularly.

Difference Between City Slip and Admit Card:
Many candidates often don’t understand the difference between a city slip and an admit card. For your information, the city slip includes the examination city, which is usually released 10-15 days before the exam. The admit card, on the other hand, is the entry ticket, without which you will not be allowed to enter the examination hall. The admit card is issued 3-4 days before the exam.
