iPhone Fold Design Confirmed- iPhone Fold’s recent leaked CAD renders from tipster Jon Prosser confirm a book-style design that looks similar to the Pixel Fold, but it aims for a minimal crease using liquid metal in the hinge and a pressure-dispersing metal plate.
The phone is expected to come with the Apple A19 Bionic or A20 Pro chip paired with a second-generation C2 modem, and it is expected to feature a quad camera system in total. Here is everything you need to know about the upcoming iPhone Fold.
Expected Price & Launch Date

Apple iPhone Fold is estimated to be priced around ₹1,65,000 to ₹2,15,000 for the Indian market, and it is likely to launch in September 2026 alongside the iPhone 18 Pro series. However, some sources also mention that it may launch in early 2027.

Camera Setup and Battery Pack
In the rear section of the iPhone Fold, it is expected to feature a quad camera system, which includes dual 48MP lenses in the rear section, whereas in front it is expected to feature one selfie camera on the outer display and one under-display camera on the inner screen of 18MP to 24MP.
Simultaneously, it is likely to be equipped with high-density battery cells split between both sides of the device for better power distribution, and it will definitely support fast charging.
Display and Design
iPhone Fold is expected to feature a book-style horizontal fold design similar to the Google Pixel Fold, but with a focus on a near-invisible crease-free display. It is expected to be very slim, around 9mm when folded and roughly 4.5mm when unfolded.
It may feature around a 7.8-inch inner display with a wider aspect ratio, a 120Hz refresh rate, and crease-reduction technology, and a 5.5-inch outer display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Ceramic Shield glass. It is expected to get IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance and a titanium frame.
Performance

iPhone Fold is likely to be powered by the upcoming A19 Bionic or A20 Pro chip paired with a second-generation C2 modem, and it will also integrate Touch ID for secure unlocking. However, you may not see Face ID on the iPhone Fold, and it will likely run on iOS 26 or a future version optimised for the foldable form factor and multitasking.
