BPSSC SI Exam Date Out: Check Prelims Schedule for 1799 Posts, How to Download Hall Ticket?

BPSSC SI Exam Date: The Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) has announced the preliminary exam dates for the Sub-Inspector posts in the Home Department (Police Branch). Candidates who wish to appear for this exam can check the notice on the official website bpssc.bihar.gov.in. This recruitment process aims to fill 1799 vacancies in the Bihar Police. According to the notification, the Sub-Inspector recruitment written exam will be conducted on January 18 and January 21, 2026. The exam will be held in two shifts. The first shift will be from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and the second shift will be from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM.

When will the admit card be released?
The admit card for the exam will be released on December 30, 2025. It can be downloaded from the Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission website. Candidates must carry their admit card and a valid photo ID, such as a passport, driving license, PAN card, or Aadhaar card, to the examination centre. All candidates must download their admit cards online. Admit cards will not be sent to any candidate by post.

Exam will be held in two shifts
The BPSSC SI recruitment exam will be conducted in two shifts on both days. The first shift will be from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The second shift will be held from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM. Candidates for the first shift must report to the centre by 8:30 AM, and those for the second shift by 1:00 PM.

Keep these points in mind
According to the notification, all candidates must carry their e-admit card and a valid photo identity proof, such as a Voter ID card, Aadhaar card, driving license, PAN card, or passport, to the allotted examination centre. If the photograph on the e-admit card is not clear or is not available, then the candidate must bring two photographs similar to the one submitted with the application form to the examination centre.

Candidates who are unable to download their e-admit cards from the website for any reason may obtain a duplicate e-admit card at their own expense by visiting the Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission office at 5, Harding Road, Patna-800001, between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM on January 9th. They must bring a photocopy of their application form receipt and a valid photo identity card.
