What AppleCare Plus Now Offers
The new version of AppleCare Plus brings a notable upgrade: Apple users now get coverage for accidental damage and priority support, in addition to replacement benefits for a stolen or lost iPhone. This makes this protection plan among the most comprehensive options available for premium smartphone users in India.
Under this program, the owners of iPhones get coverage for two incidents of theft or loss per year. Battery replacement service and repair due to accidental damage continue under the plan, ensuring users do not worry about sudden repair costs.
Subscription Options and Charges
The subscription now has annual and monthly billing options. The monthly charge starts at Rs 799, making the plan more affordable for a larger pool of iPhone users. Repair costs are also fixed under AppleCare Plus: ₹2,500 is the service fee for screen or back-glass damage, while accidental damage repair has a fee of ₹8,900.
Until now, Apple had only provided yearly subscription options; this update offers more flexibility for those who prefer monthly payments.

New iPhones already come with a one-year limited warranty and 90 days of free technical support.
