Bihar Election Result 2025 Update: A total of 66.91% voter turnout was recorded in both phases of the 2025 Bihar Assembly Elections. All exit polls have predicted a National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government. Counting of votes has begun for all seats. The party that wins 122 of the 243 seats will assume power in Bihar. The NDA’s major parties include the Janata Dal (United), the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the Lok Janshakti Party (LJP), and the Hindustani Awam Morcha (HIM). The Grand Alliance comprises the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), the Congress, the Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP), the Left parties, and the Indian Inclusive Party.

As votes are counted on November 14th, the picture of the results will become clearer. A majority in the 243-seat assembly requires 122 seats.

How to check the Bihar Election Result 2025 on the ECI website:

First, visit the Election Commission’s official website: https://results.eci.gov.in/. After this, select the seat under Constituency Wise Results. Doing so will allow you to see the results for each assembly seat.

It should be noted that this time, voting in Bihar took place in two phases. The first phase was on November 6th and the second on November 11th. The main contest in Bihar is between the opposition Grand Alliance led by Nitish Kumar and Tejashwi Yadav. Meanwhile, Prashant Kishore’s Jan Suraj Party is trying to make the contest triangular. There are a total of 243 seats in the state, and the majority mark is 122.

Tejaswi Yadav from Raghopur, Samrat Chaudhary from Tarapur, Vijay Kumar Sinha from Lakhisarai, Mangal Pandey from Siwan, Ramkripal Yadav from Danapur, Vijay Kumar Chaudhary from Sarairanjan, Nitin Navin from Bankipur, and Nitish Mishra from Jhanjharpur.

What are the ECI figures saying?

The Election Commission of India’s figures as of 9:20 AM show that the Bharatiya Janata Party is leading in 16 seats. Whereas, Janata Dal United is leading on 9, Lok Janshakti Party (RV) on 3, Congress on 2 and Rashtriya Janata Dal on 4.
