The company released its new Gaming Technology, a collection of hardware and software advancements intended to enhance performance and stability when playing mobile games, ahead of the OnePlus 15 5G’s impending debut in India. As to the company, as the OnePlus 15 series will introduce these features. Three features—OP Gaming Core, OP Performance Tri-Chip, and OP FPS Max—will be included in the new system with the goal of enhancing thermal efficiency, touch response, and frame rates.

OP Core Gaming

The OP Gaming Core, a chip-level optimization platform created by OnePlus, is the essential part. According to the company, it has 254 patents and was developed using more than 20,000 lines of code. Also, it has a proprietary Processor scheduler that reduces CPU load by about 23% by analyzing game workloads and allocating processing jobs appropriately.

Also, the system replaces Android’s built-in scheduler with a self-developed energy consumption model for gaming. The manufacturer claims that this model greatly lowers frame drops while maintaining 120 fps gameplay and lowering battery usage.

HyperRendering Next-Gen

Using a driver-level restructuring of the rendering pipeline, the next-generation HyperRendering feature enhances GPU performance. OnePlus claims that by adding frame interpolation directly into the main chipset rather than depending on a separate chip, it lowers latency and increases per-frame rendering efficiency by up to 80%.

Tri-Chip System for Performance

Also, OnePlus unveiled the Performance Tri-Chip hardware system, which consists of a new Wi-Fi chip G2, a performance chip, and a dedicated touch response chip. This setup prioritizes gaming data transfer in locations with weak signals, enhances network reliability, and allows touch sampling up to 165 Hz.

OP FPS Maximum

Over the course of three years, OnePlus developed the OP FPS Max technology, which allows customers to play games at up to 165 frames per second. This technology offers fluid, high frame rate gaming—even above 120 images per second—by fusing hardware, software, and display technology.
