In just a few months, the automotive market will see the launch of four large SUVs one after the other. Hyundai, Tata, Kia, and Mahindra are all set to make a strong comeback in the Indian market with their new-generation cars. The new version of the Hyundai Venue will be launched on November 4th, while the Tata Sierra is expected to reach showrooms in mid- or late November. The new generation of the Kia Seltos will be introduced in late 2025 and will go on sale in early 2026. Mahindra is also preparing to launch its electric SUV, the XEV 7e, in December 2025.
New Hyundai Venue
Bookings for the new generation Hyundai Venue have already begun for ₹25,000. This time, the SUV will be offered in 12 new HX variants, including petrol, turbo-petrol, and diesel engine options. The 2025 Venue will be taller, wider, and offer improved cabin space than the current model. Design-wise, it will clearly reflect the influence of the Creta. The new Venue will feature attractive new colors like Hazel Blue and Mystic Sapphire. Features will include two 12.3-inch curved panoramic displays, ambient lighting, a 4-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat, and several high-tech features.
Tata Sierra
The iconic 90s SUV, the Tata Sierra, is soon returning in a new avatar. Tata Motors will offer it with three powertrain options: petrol, diesel, and electric. The petrol version will initially feature a new 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine, while a 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine will be added later. The diesel variant may feature the Nexon’s 2.0-liter engine. The Sierra EV version will use a powertrain similar to the Harrier EV. Design-wise, the Sierra will retain its premium SUV identity, while offering a modern look and futuristic features.
Kia Seltos 2025
Kia’s popular SUV, the Seltos, will be introduced in a new generation by the end of 2025. The new Seltos will feature the company’s “Opposite United” design philosophy. Its front end will feature a new grille, thin vertical DRLs, and redesigned fog lamps. The side profile and rear design will also receive significant changes. The interior may feature a triple-screen setup borrowed from the Siroz and several premium features. However, the engine setup will remain unchanged, meaning the existing petrol and diesel engine options will remain.\
