Volkswagen is testing its new Tayron SUV in India. According to reports, the car was to be launched after Diwali. Now that the festival season is almost over, it is expected that the company will soon announce its launch date. There is a possibility that Volkswagen Tayron will be introduced in the Indian market by the first week of November or December 2025.
Engines and platforms
Volkswagen Tayron can actually be called Skoda Kodiaq’s sister model, as it is also based on the MQB EVO platform. It has the same powerful 2.0-liter turbo petrol engine, which generates 201bhp power and 320Nm of torque.
It is expected that the option of AWD (All-Wheel Drive) will be available in Tayron as well, so that this SUV can provide great performance on all kinds of paths. In both power and performance, this car is going to give a tough challenge to the rest of the SUVs in its segment.
Design
If it talks about its design, then Volkswagen is identified for its solid and modern design. Tayron is no different. Its exterior features similar design elements from Taigun R Line.
