Kia India has benefited tremendously from GST 2.0. In September 2025, the company sold 22,700 new units. However, it shows an annual decline of 3.5 percent compared to September 2024 last year, as the company then sold 23,523 units. But if compared to August 2024, when sales were 19,608 units, this time a growth of 15.77 percent has been recorded.
Kia Sonet
Kia Sonet still remains the first choice of people in terms of sales. In September 2025, the SUV was purchased by 9,020 new customers. Even though it has fallen by 12.72 percent annually, its popularity remains intact. The initial X-showroom price of this SUV is just ₹7,30,138, making it an affordable option in its segment.
Talking about its features, Sonet offers many premium features such as sunroof, 10.25-inch full digital driver display, 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, ventilated front seats, 7-speaker Bose sound system and connected car technology. In terms of security, it has 360 degree camera, ADAS system and cruise control.
Kia Carens
Number two is Kia Carens, which was bought by 7,338 new customers in September 2025. This shows an annual increase of 18 percent against 6,217 units sold in September 2024 last year. Its comfortable interior and safety features make it extremely popular among families. Kia carriage prices start at ₹10 lakhs, which is quite reasonable given its features and space.
Kia Seltos
The company’s flagship SUV Kia Seltos is in third place. In September 2025, it was purchased by 5,816 customers. This shows a 16 percent drop compared to the 6,959 units of September 2024 last year. However, the craze of Celtos is still not reduced. Its powerful engine, ADAS technology, panoramic sunroof and stylish looks make it a premium mid-size SUV. Its price starts at around ₹10.90 lakhs.
Kia Syros
In fourth place is Kia Syros, which has slowly started to hold its own in the market. It sold 465 units in September 2025, representing a monthly increase of 50 percent compared to 308 units sold in August 2025. This SUV is attracting new buyers due to its compact size, powerful engine and budget-friendly price tag. Kia Cyros prices start at around ₹8.50 lakhs.

Kia Carnival
Number five is Kia Carnival, a premium MPV. The model sold 61 units in September 2025, showing a 22 percent increase over the August 2025 50 units. Although it costs around ₹30 lakhs, the car is the perfect blend of both comfort and luxury. Kia EV6 and Kia EV9 did not find any new customers this time, indicating that the electric segment still needs further improvement.
