Process to make PAN card for children

  • Parents or guardians will first have to visit the official website of NSDL.
  • Fill Form 49A, select the correct category and fill in the personal details.
  • Upload the required documents like child’s age certificate and parents’ photo.
  • Upload parent’s signature.
  • Fill the form after paying the fee of Rs 107.
  • Now you will get a receipt number, through which you can know the status of the application.
  • Once the application form is complete, you will receive an email. The PAN card will be generated within 15 days of verification.

 

How to make a child’s PAN card offline

  1. Download Form 49A from the official website of NSDL and fill it. 
  2. Attach two photographs of the child and the required documents along with the form. 
  3. Go to your nearest NSDL office and submit it along with the fees. 
  4. After verification, the PAN card will be delivered to the address provided by you.
