Process to make PAN card for children
- Parents or guardians will first have to visit the official website of NSDL.
- Fill Form 49A, select the correct category and fill in the personal details.
- Upload the required documents like child’s age certificate and parents’ photo.
- Upload parent’s signature.
- Fill the form after paying the fee of Rs 107.
- Now you will get a receipt number, through which you can know the status of the application.
- Once the application form is complete, you will receive an email. The PAN card will be generated within 15 days of verification.
How to make a child’s PAN card offline
- Download Form 49A from the official website of NSDL and fill it.
- Attach two photographs of the child and the required documents along with the form.
- Go to your nearest NSDL office and submit it along with the fees.
- After verification, the PAN card will be delivered to the address provided by you.
