The company has announced to invest ₹45,000 crores by FY2030. Through this investment, Hyundai aims to make India the second largest region in its global operations. Not only this, Hyundai will also strengthen its export strategy, bringing 30% of the total business from exports.

New Hyundai MPV, Off-Road SUV Confirmed For India

New MPV and Off-Road SUV

Hyundai is introducing its new MPV and off-road SUV in India for the first time. The company says it will enter a new segment that wasn’t previously in its lineup. The upcoming off-road SUV is expected to be a monocoque-based model, featuring high ground clearance and a rugged design.

This SUV won’t be a direct rival to the Thar, but will carve out a niche in the midsize SUV category. Hyundai is also considering bringing its Staria MPV and Stargazer-based MPV to India – which we also saw at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025.

Dedicated Electric SUV

Hyundai also has a large game plan in the electric segment. The company will launch its first fully dedicated Electric SUV in India by 2027. Along with this, Hyundai’s luxury brand Genesis will also make its entry into the Indian market — ie good news for luxury car lovers.
