Assembly elections will be held next month in Bihar, and the dates have already been announced. With this announcement, the code of conduct has come into effect in the state. Because of this, many new government announcements and schemes have been stopped for now.
Recently, the Bihar government started the Mahila Rojgar Yojana (Women’s Employment Scheme). Two installments under this scheme have already been released. Now that the code of conduct is active, many women are asking if they will get their ₹10,000 installment after the code of conduct ends.
Women’s Employment Scheme Status
The Mahila Rojgar Yojana (Women’s Employment Scheme) is already running. Under this scheme, women receive ₹10,000 directly in their bank accounts. Those who have already applied but have not yet received the money will get it on the scheduled dates.
After the Code of Conduct comes into effect, the government cannot start any new scheme or make new announcements. However, schemes that are already running and for which installment information has been shared will not be stopped or changed.
Payment and Verification Details
The Code of Conduct will not stop payments under existing schemes. But, if there are issues like wrong bank details, Aadhaar not linked, or incorrect mobile numbers, the payment may get delayed. So, it is important to check your bank and Aadhaar details carefully.
You can check your Mahila Rojgar Yojana application status on the official website https://mmry.brlps.in/
, or visit your nearest Jeevika or Block Office.
Important Note
New announcements or new payments may be delayed during the Code of Conduct. However, installments already being processed will continue. So, applicants who have already applied do not need to worry about payment delays due to the Code of Conduct.
