Hero MotoCorp has a big gift for bike lovers this festive season. The company has reduced the price of its popular adventure bike, the Hero XPulse 210, by more than ₹14,000. This decision was made after the government revised GST rates, and Hero MotoCorp announced that it would pass on the full benefit to customers. The company says that even before the new GST rates came into effect on September 22nd, it had ensured that the full benefit would be passed on directly to buyers.

New Prices and Variants
Previously, the base variant of the Hero XPulse 210 was priced at ₹1.76 lakh, while the top variant was priced at ₹1.86 lakh. However, after the GST reduction, prices have now come down to ₹1.62 lakh (base variant) and ₹1.71 lakh (top variant). This means the price of this bike has now been reduced by approximately ₹14,516. This strategy by the company is not only an attempt to attract customers, but also establishes the XPulse 210 as a strong option in its segment.

Engine and Performance
Both variants are powered by a 210cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that generates 24.6 hp of power at 9,250 rpm and 20.7 Nm of torque at 7,250 rpm. This engine is particularly known for its smooth performance and adventure-ready torque delivery. Whether you’re on the highway or on an off-road trail, the XPulse 210 offers excellent grip and control in every situation.
Features and Advanced Technology
The features that distinguish the top variant from the base variant make it more premium. It features a TFT display that displays all the bike’s riding information digitally. In terms of safety, this variant comes with dual-channel ABS, while the base variant offers single-channel ABS. Features like knuckle guards and a windscreen not only enhance its appearance but also provide better safety and wind protection during riding.

Competition and Market Position
The Hero XPulse 210’s closest competitor is the Kawasaki KLX 230, which is now priced at ₹1.84 lakh. Although the KLX 230 has also become cheaper due to local production and GST reduction, the XPulse 210 offers a tough competition in terms of both features and price. While the KLX 230 is considered a premium adventure bike, the XPulse 210, with its affordable price tag and reliable engine, has become a great choice for buyers in the mid-range adventure segment.
