Getting a driving license (DL) in Unnao is now stricter. Anyone who wants a learning or permanent DL at the RTO must take a medical test. This was told by ARTO Shweta Verma and doctor Dr. Saurabh Sachan.

Dr. Saurabh Sachan said this test is not just a formality. It is needed to keep drivers safe. The test checks if the driver can understand traffic signals and sounds and act fast in an emergency.

Medical Test for Driving License

This test checks the applicant’s eyesight, color blindness, hearing, and hand and leg function. After passing the medical test, the doctor gives the applicant a completed Form 1A. ARTO Shweta Verma said that without Form 1A, no driving test or learning license process can continue.

Shweta Verma said, “Form 1A shows that the person is fit to drive. We want only healthy drivers on the roads of Unnao.” She also warned about fake websites giving Form 1A without real testing.

Driving Test and Safety

Sensors on the track record every movement of the driver and send the data to the control room. The data is checked by a computer using AI (Artificial Intelligence). The computer decides pass or fail. Applicants who fail cannot get a driving license.
