BSNL 4G Network:- Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to inaugurate the state-owned BSNL’s “indigenous” 4G network on Saturday. With this, India will join a select group of countries that can build their own telecom networks. On September 27th, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the state-owned BSNL’s indigenous 4G network from Jharsuguda, Odisha. This network is entirely built in India and is prepared for future upgrades to 5 G.
India will now become the fifth country in the world to develop its own 4G-related software and hardware. With the launch of the service, all telecom operators in India will be equipped with 4 G capabilities. Companies like Jio, Airtel, and Vi already offer 4G and 5G networks to their customers.
According to Telecom Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, with this launch, India will join the ranks of countries like Denmark, Sweden, South Korea, and China that manufacture their own telecom equipment. India has now become the fifth leading country in this field.
Network will expand to 98,000 centres
BSNL’s 4G network will be launched at approximately 98,000 centres across the country. It will also be launched in several states. Scindia himself will be present in Guwahati during this event.
