After 30 Years in Cinema, Shah Rukh Khan Gets First National Award & Rani Mukerji Adds Glamour

SRK Wins First National Award  – The 71st National Film Awards ceremony was held in a grand ceremony at Vigyan Bhawan in Delhi on September 23rd. Two of Bollywood’s biggest stars, Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukerji, arrived to receive their first National Awards on this special occasion.

Shah Rukh Khan receives Best Actor for ‘Jawaan’

You may not believe it, but it’s true! In his film career spanning over 30 years, ‘King Khan’ has received his first National Award. He was awarded Best Actor for his 2023 blockbuster film ‘Jawaan’.

He shared the award with Vikrant Massey, who received the same honour for his film ’12th Fail’. Shah Rukh looked extremely stylish at the event in a black suit and white shirt. This look is also being linked to his upcoming film ‘King’.

Rani Mukerji also won hearts for ‘Mrs. Chatterjee vs. Norway’

Like Shah Rukh Khan, Rani Mukerji also received this special honour after a 30-year acting career. She was awarded the National Award for Best Actress for her powerful performance in the film ‘Mrs.

Chatterjee vs. Norway.’ The two old friends were seen together at the awards ceremony, much to the delight of fans. Many other artists who have made significant contributions to Indian cinema were also honoured at the awards ceremony for their outstanding work.
