The deadline for Central Government employees to choose the Unified Pension Scheme (UPS) is coming soon. The last date is September 30, only eight days left. Employees who want to join UPS but face problems online can submit their applications offline, as allowed by PFRDA.
Many new employees who joined after April 1, 2025, and work at different locations, have not yet submitted their forms to get a Permanent Retirement Account Number (PRAN). These employees must complete and submit Form A1 on time to choose UPS. They need to provide all required information in the form. According to PFRDA, new members must physically submit Form A1 by September 30 to opt for UPS.
