Monsoon Update – Heavy to Very Heavy Rain Alert in 12 States for September 20,21 & 22

Monsoon Update: The weather in Delhi is changing. The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rain in Delhi. The Meteorological Department has predicted partly cloudy skies in Delhi for the next five days. Continuous rain has caused havoc in Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu and Kashmir. While there was no rain in Delhi on Thursday, the Meteorological Department has now issued a heavy rain alert for Delhi.

According to the Meteorological Department, partly cloudy skies are expected in Delhi for the next five days, starting September 20. According to the IMD, rain is likely in Jharkhand from September 20 to 22nd. The Ranchi Meteorological Centre has issued a yellow alert for rain for the next five days. During this period, heavy rain is possible in some areas, while light to moderate rain is expected in others.

Rain Warning in Bihar
According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rain is not expected in Bihar after September 20. However, the rain is expected to continue, and light rain may be observed in some districts until September 25. Currently, there is no rain anywhere in Patna.

Rain Warning in Assam and Meghalaya
The Meteorological Department has reported that heavy rain is likely in Arunachal Pradesh on September 20. Furthermore, the Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rain in Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura from September 20 to 24th. Heavy rain is also possible in some areas of Assam and Meghalaya on September 22.

Additionally, heavy rainfall is expected in Tamil Nadu from September 20 to 21st. Strong winds are likely to occur in coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, and Rayalaseema during the next five days. Rainfall is expected at many places in these areas during the next five days.
