You can download your challan by visiting traffic.delhipolice.gov.in/notice/lokadalat. A total of 60,000 challans can be downloaded in a day, and the target is to settle 1.8 lakh challans in total. The court premises, court number, and time will be written on your challan slip itself.
How much discount can be obtained in the challan
A huge discount can be obtained on traffic challans in Lok Adalat. Past experiences show that it is common to get a discount of 30% to 75% on the challan amount. There is no fixed rule here; rather, the amount of discount depends on the discretion of the judge and the type of case. The atmosphere of Lok Adalat is not like a normal court.
