FASTag Annual Pass: Now, the process of paying toll tax on national or state highways has become easy. Toll tax is easily deducted through FASTag. With this, one does not have to face jams at toll plazas. Now FASTag Annual Pass has been started on national highways, which has also been implemented. With the help oan f an annual pass, you can cross national highways without stopping.
For this, you just have to get a pass of Rs 3000. The most important thing is that with this annual pass, you can cross 200 toll plazas in a year. You have to know that the FASTag Annual Pass will not be valid on all routes. It also has some restrictions. Know below where the annual pass will be valid and where it will not.

FASTag Annual Pass will not be applicable here.
You will be surprised to know that the FASTag Annual Pass issued by the National Highway Authority of India will not be valid everywhere. It will be valid only on those routes that are national highways. An annual pass will not work on highways operated by state authorities. Here you will have to pay money separately.

These include Yamuna Expressway (Uttar Pradesh), Purvanchal Expressway (Uttar Pradesh), Bundelkhand Expressway (Uttar Pradesh), Ganga Expressway (Uttar Pradesh) – under construction, Agra-Lucknow Expressway (Uttar Pradesh), Samriddhi Mahamarg (Maharashtra), Mumbai-Pune Expressway (operated by MSRDC), Atal Setu (Goa) and toll roads under other state authorities. For this, you will have to keep the Fastag recharged. Money will be deducted from the Fastag itself.
How long will the Fastag Annual Pass last?
The National Highways Authority of India has launched the FASTag Annual Pass for private vehicles on 15 August 2025. You will need to spend Rs 3000 for the FASTag Annual Pass. You will have to pay this amount in one lump sum.
By paying a lump sum fee, you can buy the FASTag Annual Pass. Using the FASTag Annual Pass, you can travel from toll plazas across the country without paying tolls for 1 year. Along with this, keep in mind that with this FASTag Annual Pass of Rs 3000, you can cross the toll plaza only 200 times.
