Mobile Number Aadhaar Link– Aadhaar It is mandatory to link your mobile number to your Aadhar card. There are a large number of people in the state whose mobile number is not linked to Aadhar. It is becoming difficult for the poor, especially the daily wage earners, to leave their work and update their mobile number. The Postal Department has taken the initiative in this matter. Now, the facility of updating mobile number in Aadhar card will be available at home. UIDAI will train the employees of all the nodal institutes in this regard.
Under the pilot project, it will be started in Patna GPO in the first phase. Many postal workers will be deployed along with the postman of Patna GPO. First, they will be given training to update the mobile number on the Aadhar card. After this, the postman will go door to door to provide this facility.
Actually, verification is done through OTP number to check the authenticity of Aadhaar. This prevents misuse of Aadhaar. Due to this, it has been made mandatory to have a mobile number with Aadhaar. For any SIM or financial work, OTP comes only on the Aadhaar seeded mobile number.
These days a large number of people reach the Aadhaar Seva Kendra to update their mobile numbers. They have to stand in line for hours. People who earn daily lose their wages. Because of this people do not take interest in this work openly. In view of these problems, the postal department has been given this responsibility. It is being started in Patna as a pilot project. For this, necessary training is being given to the employees of the postal department who will go door to door and update the mobile with Aadhaar.
