Elvish Yadav Case Twist:- Do you remember the case of YouTuber Elvish Yadav, in which he was accused of supplying snake venom? Yes, the same case is in the news once again. The complainant in this case, Gaurav Gupta, and his brother Saurav Gupta have now got police protection. Gaurav, who lives in Rajnagar Extension, Ghaziabad, had complained to Elvish and some of his associates at the Sector-49 police station of Noida in November 2023. He had alleged that these people used to sell snake venom in rave parties. Following this complaint, the Noida Police arrested Elvish under the NDPS Act, although he is now out on bail.

Negligence in security: The Police Commissioner took strict action

Gaurav Gupta says that some of Elvish’s people attacked him and his brother in Rajnagar Extension. He complained about this to the Nandgram police station and also got an order from the court to provide security. But, he alleges that Nandgram police did not offer him protection.

This case was to be heard in the Supreme Court today, and just before the hearing, Police Commissioner J. Ravindra Gaud took strict action regarding this negligence. He has immediately suspended the then in-charge of the Nandgram police station, Dharampal Singh.

Dharampal Singh was currently serving as a Kotwali Inspector. According to Gaurav Gupta, the Police Commissioner has now deployed two policemen each for the security of him and his brother. This entire case demonstrates that even in high-profile cases, negligence on the part of the police will result in strict action being taken against it.
