Big relief news has come for lakhs of contract employees working in Uttar Pradesh. These employees, who have been deprived of essential facilities like permanent employees till now, can get the benefit of pension, financial assistance, and even reservation. The Uttar Pradesh government is considering forming an ‘Outsource Service Corporation’, after which the future of contract employees will be secure. Let us know about this important decision, which is going to remove their biggest concern.
Formation of ‘Outsource Corporation’
A decision on the formation of ‘Outsource Service Corporation’ may be taken in the cabinet meeting to be chaired by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. It is believed that this proposal may get the green signal.

After the formation of this corporation, contract and outsourced employees will be appointed in 92 government departments and educational institutions of the state. This will not only provide job security to these employees in the future, but will also provide many benefits that were available only to permanent employees.
The benefits of a pension and financial assistance
The UP government has also announced a pension system for outsourced employees. Under this new system, employees can get a pension of ₹ 1,000 to ₹ 7,300 every month. Apart from this, if a married employee dies, their parents will also get a monthly pension, the amount of which can be between ₹ 1,000 and ₹ 2,900. This decision is a big relief for lakhs of employees who were waiting for these facilities for a long time.
Reservation and other benefits

After the formation of the Outsource Corporation, these employees can also get the benefit of reservation in government jobs. This means that in the future, they can be given priority for appointment to regular government posts. Along with this, the formation of this corporation will also establish a systematic and transparent system, which will reduce irregularities in appointments and other processes.
To oversee this corporation, a Board of Directors will be formed under the chairmanship of the Chief Secretary, and a Director General will also be appointed. This step can bring a big change in the lives of lakhs of contract employees of UP.
