Samsung Galaxy A17 5G: Samsung has released the Galaxy A17 5G officially in India, marketing it as the cheapest AI-powered smartphone in the Galaxy A series. The new phone is a successor to last year’s top-selling Samsung smartphone in India, the Galaxy A16 5G, with a 7.5mm and 192g slimmer and lighter design. But what’s unique about it is Samsung’s record-breaking dedication of six years of OS and security updates, a first in this segment.

The Galaxy A17 5G comes at the right time for the festive season, and the price is likely to be irresistible. The base model of 6GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at ₹18,999, and the 8GB + 128GB model retails for ₹20,499. The base model of the flagship 8GB + 256GB variant is priced at ₹23,499. Launch offers to customers also include ₹1,000 cashback on HDFC and SBI card payments as well as UPI transactions. Samsung is also providing zero-interest EMI for a maximum of 10 months, which makes the phone even more affordable.
Design and Display Features
Galaxy A17 5G features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate. While the panel itself is spirited, the U-shaped notch design appears dated in comparison to competitors that now have punch-hole cutouts.
