Bank New Rules: If your salary account is with Yes Bank, then this news is very special for you. Let us tell you that Yes Bank has announced a change in the charges for its salary account and defense-related account. This change will be implemented on October 1, 2025. This will include all variants of Smart Salary and the Yes Vijay account. This will include Advantage, Exclusive, Defense Pension, and Agniveer accounts. After this decision of the bank, people are likely to suffer a lot.

Know about Smart Salary Account
Let us tell you that under the new rule, the Smart Salary Advantage account holder will now be given a RuPay Debit Card, on which a joining fee of Rs 199 will have to be paid. At the same time, customers on Smart Salary Exclusive and above variants will get an Engage or Explore Debit Card, whose fees can be waived under certain conditions. If the customer gets a salary of at least Rs 10,000 credited monthly or maintains an average balance of Rs 10,000, then the joining and renewal charges will be waived off.
Know how much the charge will be levied
Three monthly transactions in metro cities and five times in non-metro cities will be free at ATMs of other banks.
After this, a fee of Rs 23 will be charged on financial transactions and Rs 10 on non-financial transactions.
On the other hand, a charge of Rs 150 will be levied for withdrawing money from an automatic ATM and Rs 20 for a balance inquiry.
If the cheque bounces, a charge of Rs 500 will be levied for the first time and Rs 750 for the second time.
If the salary is not credited for three months, the account will be converted into a regular savings account
After which, non-maintenance charges of up to Rs 750 will be applicable on it.

Know the charges on the Yes Vijay account
Yes, Vijay account holders will get Element and Engage debit cards for free.
1 lakh rupees or 2 transactions per month will be free at a bank branch or a bulk note acceptor.
After this, a charge of Rs 4.5 per thousand rupees will be levied.
On the other hand, a charge of Rs 350 will be levied for the first time on a check return and Rs 750 thereafter.
A charge of Rs 500 will be levied for the ECS return for the first time and Rs 550 thereafter.
Charges on the defense and pension account
For information, defense and pension account holders will continue to get the same facility as before. Unlimited free transactions will be available at Yes Bank ATMs. AEFT/RTGS transactions will be free. Digital banking service will also be completely free.
