5 Upcoming Mahindra Premium SUVs: Mahindra is preparing an exciting lineup of premium SUVs that will launch in India within the next two years. These models will bring fresh design updates, modern interiors, and advanced technology to attract buyers looking for style, space, and performance.
Mahindra XUV700 Facelift
Mahindra XUV700 is expected in early 2026. It will feature redesigned bumpers, new alloy wheels, and updated lighting. Flush-type door handles will continue, while new paint options may also be introduced. Inside, the SUV will receive new upholstery, trims, and a revised cabin theme. The biggest highlight will be a triple-screen setup including a touchscreen, digital instrument cluster, and passenger display. Engine options are likely to remain the same with 2.0-litre petrol and 2.2-litre diesel units.

XEV 7e (XUV700-based Premium Electric SUV)
Anticipated to be launched next year, this luxury three-row electric SUV will bear a strong resemblance to its ICE counterpart in silhouette and proportions. It will differentiate itself with EV-specific styling elements like a closed-off grille and distinctive lighting signatures. On the inside and beneath the skin, customers can expect it to borrow very significantly from Mahindra’s dedicated born-electric portfolio, delivering contemporary aesthetics and technology.
XUV.e8 (Concept to Battery-Powered Reality)
Mahindra is seen to be in advanced test phases for the XUV.e8, its battery-electric cousin of the XUV700 concept. Although still in test phases, it indicates the brand’s drive toward electrification in the premium SUV space. Information is still scarce, but the testing phases highlight a soon-to-come electric member in the XUV family.
BE Rall-E (Rugged Electric SUV)
Sighted as test mules in India, the BE Rall-E will be a more off-road-oriented, rugged electric version of the BE 6. It is set to borrow 59 kWh and 79 kWh battery options from its BE 6 sibling, and provide range and capability. This model reflects Mahindra’s plans to introduce durable EV choices to discerning SUV customers.

Hybrid Variants of XEV 9e and BE 6
Mahindra can also diversify into hybrid versions of its XEV 9e and BE 6 offerings, surfing the increasing worldwide shift toward electrified powertrains. Although confirmation is not available as yet, early indications hint that hybridised variants will enter the mix sometime in the future.
