Engine
If we talk about the engine, both the bikes fall in the 100cc class, but there is a lot of difference in their engine and performance. Bajaj Platina 100 is equipped with a 102cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces 7.9 bhp power and 8.34 Nm torque. The biggest feature of this engine is its fuel efficiency. Bajaj claims that Platina 100 gives mileage of up to 96 kmpl, making it one of the most economical bikes in India.
The Hero Passion Pro uses a 97.2cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces 7.91 bhp of power and 8.05 Nm of torque. Both bikes are almost equal in terms of engine, but the engine of the Passion Pro is considered more refined. It gives a smooth riding experience with less vibration. However, its fuel efficiency is slightly less than the Platina at around 65-70 kmpl.
Comfort
The Bajaj Platina 100 has long travel suspension and comfortable seating which makes it better for bad roads. This bike gives you a smooth and stable ride, especially on long journeys. The Hero Passion Pro is lighter and more agile. Its handling is very light and predictable, making it perfect for the congested city traffic. If you mostly ride in the city and want easy handling, then the Passion Pro can be a better option.
Features
Both the bikes are very basic in terms of features as this segment is focused on price and efficiency. In the Bajaj Platina 100 you get a digital-analog instrument cluster, AGSB and halogen headlamp. It also has a battery saver function that automatically turns off the lights when the bike is off.
The Hero Passion Pro is also not very ahead in terms of features, but you do get an additional safety feature like side stand engine cut-off. This feature automatically shuts off the engine when the side stand is engaged, which is a great safety feature.

Price
In terms of price, the Bajaj Platina 100 is usually slightly cheaper than the Hero Passion Pro. The ex-showroom price of the Platina 100 starts at around ₹ 64,000, while the Passion Pro starts at around ₹ 68,000. This difference is due to the slightly better finish and brand value of the Passion Pro.
