VinFast VF6: Vietnamese automaker VinFast is set to enter the Indian auto market in style. The company has formally announced the launch of its two new electric SUVs, VF6 and VF7, on September 6. Both the models were previously revealed at India Mobility Global Expo this year. With aggressive design and state-of-the-art electric powertrains, these SUVs are poised to challenge Mahindra and Hyundai in the expanding EV segment. Bookings have already begun for a token amount of ₹21,000, which goes on to prove the hype surrounding these new models.
VinFast VF7
VinFast VF7 is aimed at appealing to contemporary customers who desire style as well as performance. The SUV is available in three trims titled Earth, Wind, and Sky. It comes with six bold color options: Jet Black, Desat Silver, Infinity Blank, Crimson Red, Zenith Grey, and Urban Mint. These colors emphasize the aggressive styling language of the VF7. Its exterior design sports wide daylight running lights running across its body. The DRLs converge in the middle, where they create a V-shape that encapsulates the company’s logo. This styling makes the VF7 have a cutting-edge and futuristic look.
VinFast VF7 Battery and Performance
The VF7 will also be available in both 2WD and AWD configurations. The 2WD model has a front motor generating 204 hp, while the AWD model adds a rear motor to take overall output to 350 hp and 500 Nm. The 70.8 kWh battery pack is offered for both versions, with a WLTP-approved range of up to 450 km for the front-wheel-drive and 431 km for the all-wheel-drive models. This offers buyers the flexibility they require for their needs for both efficiency and power.
VinFast VF6
In tandem with the VF7, the VinFast VF6 offers a smaller but no less impressive package. The SUV has a bold front fascia with LED daytime running lights that bend downward toward the center V-shaped logo. The grille area features a honeycomb pattern, black cladding, and a wide air dam, giving it a sporty appearance. At the rear, a sleek LED strip tail-light stretches across, mirroring the front’s design theme. These styling touches make the VF6 a head-turner on Indian roads.
VinFast VF6 Battery and Range
The VF6 uses a 59.6 kWh battery in conjunction with a 204 hp front-axled motor. Though no official ARAI-certified numbers have been released yet, the SUV comes with an WLTP-tested range of 480 km. The number places it in consideration for customers seeking more extended daily commutes with fewer charging intervals.
