Tata Sierra: Tata Motors is lining up a robust portfolio for Indian consumers in FY25 with five new launches. Petrol and electric variants will be launched in the next six months, several coinciding with the festive season. That reflects Tata’s effort to grow its SUV lineup while increasing options for customers.

Tata Punch Facelift

The facelifted Tata Punch is to arrive in October 2025. Based on the Punch EV, it will carry a 10.25-inch infotainment screen, new 2-spoke steering wheel, and a digital cluster. Seats and dashboard architecture will be the same as the current model. Power will remain through the same 1.2L petrol engine with manual and AMT options, plus a CNG variant.

Tata Harrier Petrol

Tata Motors will launch the Harrier petrol in November 2025. It will introduce a new 1.5L turbo petrol engine churning 166 bhp and 280 Nm torque. Both 6-speed manual and automatic transmission options will be available to buyers. The petrol variant will resemble and feel exactly like the diesel Harrier but is expected to sport a more favorable starting price of about ₹12–13 lakh.

Tata Safari Petrol

The Safari will also enter the lineup with the same 1.5L turbo-petrol engine in November 2025. The design and features will be the same as the diesel variant, providing customers with comfortable familiarity and premium interiors. With affordable pricing anticipated, the Safari petrol might attract families seeking a big SUV without overspending.

Tata Sierra EV

The Tata Sierra EV will arrive by early 2026. It was revealed in near-production guise at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo. The SUV will have 65 kWh and 75 kWh battery variants, with a range of more than 600 km on a charge. Based on its box-like design and luxury features, the Sierra EV will target contemporary city customers.

Tata Sierra IC

As per the electric model, Tata will launch the Sierra powered by ICE. It will be identical to the EV model in terms of styling and cabin but will be powered by 1.5L turbo-petrol and 2.0L diesel powertrains, the same powertrains as Harrier and Safari. With this launch, Tata Motors will have India’s biggest SUV lineup complete with both electric and conventional engine options available for buyers.
