Monsoon Alert: The rainy season is currently underway in many states across the country. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert due to the rain in many states across the country. Nature’s wrath has been seen in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. A cloudburst has caused devastation in the area. Due to this natural disaster, many shops and houses are filled with debris. The Meteorological Department estimates that heavy rains, accompanied by thunderstorms, may be expected in Delhi on Saturday.

At the same time, the rainy season may continue in the hilly states. According to the Meteorological Department, an alert has been issued due to rain in several states, including Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, and Bihar. The Meteorological Department states that the rainy season in Delhi is expected to continue from August 23 to August 28. A heavy rain warning has been issued in other states, along with Delhi.

Rain warning in these states

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Jharkhand and Odisha on August 23. An alert has been issued due to heavy rainfall in certain areas of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh over the next 6-7 days. The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains at some places in Odisha, Jharkhand, Bihar, and West Bengal from August 23 to 26. There is a possibility of thunder and lightning in these areas during the next 5 days.

According to the Meteorological Department, very heavy rains are expected in Madhya Maharashtra, Konkan, and Goa on August 26. Apart from this, strong winds are also expected on the Gujarat coast during the next 5 days and on the Maharashtra coast on August 25-26. Heavy rains are likely in these areas during the next 7 days. Heavy rainfall has been recorded in some areas of Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, and Arunachal Pradesh from August 23 to 27.

The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains at some places in coastal Karnataka, Kerala, and Andhra Pradesh on August 26 and 28. The Meteorological Department has predicted a possibility of rain with thunder and lightning in Tamil Nadu and Telangana on August 23 and 24.
