Hero Xtreme 125R : Hero MotoCorp has given a new update to its popular bike Xtreme 125R. The company has launched a single seat variant which is priced at Rs 1 lakh (ex-showroom). This new model now stands between the base IBS trim and the top split-seat variant. With this launch, customers now have more options to buy the Xtreme 125R.
Price and variants
The base IBS model of the Hero Xtreme 125R is Rs 98,425 while the split-seat variant is priced at Rs 1.02 lakh. Now the single-seat model is available for Rs 1 lakh. That is, the company has kept it in such a price range so that customers can choose the model according to their needs and budget.
Engine and performance
This bike has the same 124.7 cc single-cylinder engine which gives 11.5 hp power and 10.5 Nm torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The same engine is also given in the recently launched Hero Glamour X. Due to smooth performance and good mileage, this engine is very popular among youth riders.
Features and Technology
The 2025 Hero Xtreme 125R can be called strong in terms of features. It gets a digital instrument console which comes with Bluetooth connectivity. Apart from this, it has LED headlight, LED tail light and LED indicators. The design of the bike comes with quite sporty and sharp body panels. It is available in six color options including Stallion Black, Firestorm Red and Cobalt Blue.
Suspension and Braking System
Hero has designed this bike on a diamond frame chassis. It has a 37mm telescopic fork at the front and hydraulic monoshock suspension at the rear. The bike runs on 17-inch alloy wheels with 90/90-17 tubeless tyres at the front and 120/80-17 at the rear. The braking setup includes 240 mm front disc and 130 mm rear drum brake. It gets CBS as standard while the top variant comes with ABS.
Dimensions and tank capacity
The curb weight of Hero Xtreme 125R is 136 kg. It has a wheelbase of 1,319 mm and a ground clearance of 180 mm. Its seat height is 794 mm and it has a fuel tank of 10 liters. That is, this bike is going to give balanced performance for both daily city riding and long rides.
