How does it work
FASTag is an electronic toll collection system run through NSAI. It is installed on the vehicle’s windscreen. With this, the tag gets automatically scanned as soon as you go to the toll plaza, and the fee is automatically deducted from your bank account. Its biggest advantage is that now you do not need to stand in long lines. After this, traveling is very easy. Rather, time will also be saved.
The new Fastag is an annual pass
The new Fastag of NHAI will cost only Rs 3,000, and its validity is for a full year. It has up to 200 toll trips. You can buy it from the official website of NHAI, the Highway Yatra App, or the MoRTH portal. If you travel on the roads for a long time, then this pass will save a lot of time.

How is it different from regular Fastag?
